In the last 25 years, mobile technology has upended consumer marketing, commerce, and service. In 2000, few people owned smartphones, custom ringtones were all the rage, and computers accounted for over 80% of Apple’s revenue... â€‹

 

Today, smartphones are universal. Global eCommerce tops $6 trillion a year, with more than half of transactions happening on mobile. Deloitte estimates that mobile influences over 60% of in-store purchases, while it also drives the majority of online travel bookings and powers trillions in mobile payments. As a result, brands have redesigned their service models to meet consumers on the go, and marketers now dedicate more than half of their digital budgets to mobile.
